Recently, the Pacific Northwest animal agriculture and animal science family lost one of its great members. Dr. Carl Hunt passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021, in Moscow, Idaho. He was a man of faith, family, and service. He proudly represented animal agriculture for 36 years since accepting a faculty position with the Animal and Veterinary Science Department at the University of Idaho in 1985. He lived a life of faith, love, service, and laughter. We lost a great educator, mentor, and above all a wonderful friend. R.I.P. Dr. Carl Hunt
Pacific Northwest Animal Nutrition Conference
January 17–18, 2022
245 S Capitol Blvd
The Pacific NW Animal Nutrition Conference began in 1965. For over 50 years, the conference has been a source of research, knowledge and education to the university and industry regarding animal nutrition in the Pacific NW. The conference is held in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and British Columbia every January.
With the efforts of a planning committee from the university and industry sects in animal nutrition and veterinary sciences, the conference strives to provide a learning atmosphere and networking to all that are interested. The PNWANC endeavors to create a program that highlights the newest information and innovations, as well as gifting students with the opportunity to highlight their research through presentation and abstract submission. Each year three students are awarded scholarships for their efforts to provide innovative research and presentations.
